Mixed Bag

As a kid I loved the 50c mixed bag of lollies from the deli....now I love the mixed bag offering of The Drum from the daily Post Courier. Last week I got the trifecta- three hits in one day! I have highlighted them- hope you enjoy them as much as I did. (click to enlarge pic)

Everywhere, anywhere......

Well The Drum has been running an ad hoc series on the weird and wonderful places people manage to take a good old fashion kip in and around PNG. They always give me a chuckle.

When I first moved here a few years ago I used to FREAK out when I saw people asleep on the edge of the roads, sometimes on the road- I thought they were dead! Now I just navigate around them as I am talking on my mobile....of course something I would not do back home (talking on the phone that is :) )
